RE BOX SPANNERS.

E1/G5/4/19. (2)

X.33/11

Referring to your memo BY/JH2/T3419, would you kindly send to West WitteringHenry Royce's home town, a set of these box spanners.

It is, of course, understood that the application of this new spanner extends to the whole of our work, that is, it will be used in the tool kits of the cars as well as for aero engines, [text struck through], if it is recommended for standardisation.

I make this remark because your memo above mentioned speaks of the application only of the spanners to aero engines.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
