X4117 C11/C29.11.29 S/W.....Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} e. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} to By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Re 61-CL...SHORT. ----- RECEIVED EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} will no doubt be getting in touch with you regarding the trouble with this car. We understand he is of the opinion that the trouble that we discovered, namely the loss of 2 gallons of water on the journey down to London, was due to there being too large a quantity of sodium in the water, thus causing froth. No doubt you will be going carefully into this matter with a view to issuing instructions that the use of this is confined to the correct quantity. C. | ||
