X4261 X426S We have completed 50 hours bumping on the rear of the chassis fitted with the new brackets for the front of the rear springs. These have stood up satisfactorily; there is no sign of them failing. During the 50 hours run, we have broken three rear spring top leaves also one front spring top leaf. It was interesting to note that whilst we were bumping the back of the car, we actually broke a front spring. The fracture must have occurred due to torsion of the frame and side translation.
