SKETCH 2. TO DASHBOARD. The operation of through drive jaw clutches seemed to present difficulties until I thought of using the shaft direct and not referring to the usual sliders. 2nd. & 4th. 1st. & 3rd. Also moves endways & pick up each cam. Neutral. 4th. Direct drive. 1st. 2nd. & 3rd. This lever is to have a pin on each side engaging each cam in turn. In the case of Salerni rings being used there would be a double acting set up spring between this lever and its shaft. 4th Dwell in middle & at the ends. 1st. & 3rd. Pin crosses from one cam to the other while in neutral so the lever is never out of control. 2nd. | ||
