In general, we would say that the coefficient of friction would be higher when China Wood Oil is added as this will make the resultant product softer and give the brake a chance to take a hold better. After baking the lining is then finished in the usual manner.

For your information the 1606 sells for 26¢ lb. in single drum lots of 450 lbs., 25¢ lb. in 10 drum lots and 24¢ lb. in 30,000 lb. or carload lots. These prices are F.O.B. North Tonawanda, N. Y.
