-3- all these shutters could be put in noisy vibration. With regard to the rear-spring control of this car, it was forced upon me throughout the whole of my run to Scotland and back that the car was shouting for more shock-absorber control. The driver had to be most carefully on the lookout for humps on the road in order to avoid throwing the back passengers and luggage dangerously up to the roof. Also, the amount of movement does not give the steering a chance and I do not feel at all happy at the thought of all the 25's which are at present going out with only this amount of damping available. P.S. This car was also fitted with two single Lucas windscreen wipers. They were unsatisfactory in every way and returning from Scotland in torrents of rain the better of the two but only stripped its gear in the wind. FH. | ||
