X4268 With reference to the special front springs for the 20 HP. which have been recently supplied by Messrs. Firths in which they were given a free hand as regards the design of the spring. We have so far broken three of these on the bumping rig. The average life is approximately 15 hrs. This is about the same as we have obtained on previous 20 HP. springs we have tested.
