Dear Mr Robotham
I have delayed replying to Mr Swindall's letter in order to get some more data from my engine.
Before commenting on the facts given in that letter I wish to know whether you are consulting me or whether you are under the impression that you are going out of your way to give me information which might be of technical interest to me.
Judging by your letter of the 13th May it would appear that you have got some improvement which satisfies you and you have consequently no further use for me. Also it does not seem to have occurred to you that I have already spent a considerable amount of time & have used a fair amount of petrol etc investigating your particular problem, and I dont notice you offering to stand any of my expenses.
I quite agree that you made it very clear at the start that there was little hope of any financial benefit for me, and I took up the
