THE ZENITH CARBURETTER CO., LIMITED. Sheet No. 2. provided with a hole across and halfway up their length into which a stiff rod can be inserted for unscrewing them. The strangler bodycan then be removed. It is then a simple matter to undo the hexagonal choke screw seen on one side of the throttle bore, when the choke can be pulled out. The only adjustment which the private owner will normally have to do is the adjustment of the slow-running. To that effect, the carburetter is provided with an adjustable stop for the throttle, which controls the idling speed of the engine. By screwing it in, the engine will run faster. This adjustable stop will be found near the end of the throttle spindle. If the engine when idling runs unevenly, adjust the small knurled cheese-headed screw seen on top of the float-chamber cover, slanting downwards. This screw controls the strength of the mixture for idling. Screwing it in will make the mixture richer. | ||
