(6) We show on our quarter scale layout of the body sheet steel crossmembers supporting the floor under the front seats as this seems to be the only way of getting a sufficiently rigid support under the circumstances. The position and size of the forward most crossmember is of importance in view of changes which are being made to the design of the hand brake lever. In the sketch below we give the size and position we would like this crossmember to adopt.

We suggest that you should hold up for a little while the construction of the driving seat as the hand brake lever will affect this. In a few days we will send you a print enabling you to fix the shape of this seat.

(7) We left you the loud speaker belonging to the wireless set which we wish to be housed in the tool locker of the rear boot; the horizontal board behind the rear squab board should be cut away with as many holes as possible so as to allow the sound to enter the body with the maximum possible freedom. We wish the sunshine roof shield to be built in so that it can be used as the aerial.
