Material to be conveyed. Maximum pressure to be carried. Nature of service to be performed. Inside diameter of the tubing wanted. Kind, size and thread of couplings required. If there is a temperature element advise degree of heat. Exact length of each piece between faces of parts to be connected. [Page number] 9 --- PAGE BREAK --- TITE FLEX ALL METAL HOSE Tite flex Installed as Petrol and Oil Fuel Lines on Aeroplanes In contrast to the other types of tubing, due to their frictional drag and limited play in the joints, Tite flex has a soft springy action. This elastic quality in Tite flex cushions and absorbs the vibration unavoidable in some installations. Tite flex bends easily within its limit of elasticity and instead of retaining a “set” tends to return to normal position when released. Tite flex does not become stiff under pressure but maintains its original flexibility. The superiority of Tite flex over any other metal tubing or over a rubber hose externally or internally wound with wire or flat strip metal is obvious from a point by point comparison. The seam in Tite flex being permanently fixed and free from any internal rubbing action, will show no appreciable deterioration after long periods of use that would impair the tightness of construction of other tubing. The absence of organic material that can be detached or dissolved insures the purity of the fluid conveyed and the original capacity and reliability is maintained.
