Brake Drum Cast Iron.

With reference to our conversation about "Millenite".

Attached is a photomicrograph taken from a sample drum of "Millenite". This structure is thought to be very suitable for a surface rubbing against Ferodo.

If you can persuade any iron founders to experiment until they can produce iron having this microstructure, we should like to try some drums made from it.
