SECRET.

SPECTRECodename for Phantom III. - Chromium Plated Tappets.

We understand that the chromium plated tappets are giving reasonable satisfaction, but there is a tendency for the plating to start peeling away at the sharp edges.

We send you herewith:-

LeC.4623 showing the sharp edges radiused off.

The two radii on the sides of the tappet can be ground but the other radii cannot be produced other than by hand stoning, as far as we can see.

E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}

LeC.4623b herewith.
