The position is, that because of the increase in the upsweep of the Phantom II chassis frame, we are anxious to find a really shallow cushion which will yet give the comfort our customers want.. If we can find a shallow cushion which gives greater comfort than the cushions we have hitherto had, so much the better. In our investigations we have come across the Paxon air cushion which is described in the attached leaflet and this is what Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} has in mind. When he was here earlier in the week we told him we had had one car equipped with Paxon pneumatic cushions and, so far as we have been able to tell, they appear to be very comfortable. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} expressed the opinion that similar cushions might be of /are assistance in some cases of springing complaints and we/endeavouring to obtain one for you to try.
