Mr. Platford has read this sheet, and
I think in the main agrees with its contents.
He thinks his sheet might have mislead you,
inasmuch as it is not his intention, he states, to
refuse to pass good axles, but rather to draw your
attention to the fact that he is passing axles with
a period.
