[Handwritten top left:] Mr. Wormald. [Handwritten top right:] Refer to Jim Bullamore Letter from Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence [Typed:] CJ27/B27212. [STAMP: W.M. MAR 1912 RECEIVED] [Typed:] Technical Committee. Please take into consideration how you can ventilate under the dashboard cars of the Sluggard type. This car appears to me to be quite perfect save for the fact that one's feet appear to me to be nearly burnt off; and ventilation must be introduced into cars of this type which are built in the future. I believe that Mr Royce has recently suggested that the Works should get out a new form of dashboard. The ventilation question must be kept in view in connection with this matter. C.J. [Handwritten note bottom right:] This "in the future" in actual fact referred to a period long after CJ's decease! [Handwritten left margin, vertical:] X819 | ||
