PETROL CONSUMPTION TESTS.

I have got Waldron to make some petrol consumption tests under different conditions with the 2 chassis I have had here ( 2004 & 1649 ), and herewith send you the results which we obtained as I thought they might be of some interest to you.

Chassis 2004.
(A) With clutch out and gears ) 16 miles per
in down all hills. ) gallon.

With clutch out & engine ) 14.25 miles
running dead slow on ) per
governor whenever possible) gallon.

Average consumption...............13 miles per gallon.

Chassis 1649.
(A) With clutch out & gears in) 17.5 miles per
down all hills. ) gallon.

With clutch out & engine ) 15 miles
running dead slow on the ) per
governor whenever possible) gallon.

Average consumption..............14 miles per gallon.
