Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} E.5/HP.13.11.36. Bentley Brakes - N.Sch.4886. In connection with the above scheme, we should be glad if you would hold up work on the suspension yoke as we have modified this to take both Girling and Rolls-Royce brakes. Although we have sent this scheme through of Rolls-Royce brakes it is intended to fit the first Bentley III up with Girling brakes, cable operated, and the Rolls-Royce scheme will be used as a second string. The modifications for the brake operation to suit the modified hambone will be sent through in due course. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
