-2- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}19/KW.15.7.36. This carburetter had an increased needle movement of 1.2" instead of .8 and the bypass jet was reduced to .055" from .060"; otherwise standard. The petrol consumption to Brooklands and return (no track work included) was 9.22 M.P.G. with average speed of 45.3 M.P.H. Second gear works out of mesh when accelerating. The rear bonnet clips jump clear when the car is taking the banking at an angle after the straight, this may be due to the flexible scuttle mounting of the body. The de Ville extension bangs continually on rough roads, and leaks water through the hinged portion. Testers: F.{Mr Friese} Dodd, G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Ratcliffe, H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Hamilton. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/.F.Dodd. | ||
