We consider the performance of the switch to be very satisfactory, but would recommend that the contacts be tipped with a Tungsten-Copper alloy such as Elmet "L" which is manufactured by the Compound Electro Metals Ltd. London. This alloy has the advantage of a permanent low contact resistance, a high welding point and a surface which does not oxidize.
