Dear Mr. Robotham,

I shall be only too happy to provide you with facilities for seeing the Tourist Trophy Race at Donington on 4th September next. Would you be good enough to let me know how many passes you will require?

I am extremely grateful to you for your offer of the loan of a car, but if I might, would like to leave this in abeyance for the moment. I have my own transport for getting to and from Donington, but I might require something special in the way of a car to be utilised in connection with the ceremony of opening the new portion of the track. As the arrangements for this however are not yet complete, I cannot tell whether an additional car will be required. If I may, therefore, I would like to write to you regarding this sometime next week,

Yours sincerely,
AWPhillips
