- 2 - E.6/HP.1.11.32. of contact reduced similar to Delco. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst is dealing with this. ✓(9) Experiments with ventilation. Waiting Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. (10) Provision for synchronizing make and break levers as on Delco. A scheme is being prepared for this, as some modification to height is required. (11) Provision for safety sparking gap. This was intended to be on the coil, but on examination of the problem we do not think it can be put on the coil, neither can we restore it to the distributor unit. We think it is now general practice to discard the sparking gap on coil ignition, and since our coils are tested for five minutes on open circuit the absence of the sparking gap is not likely to lead to a breakdown on the rare occasions when such a device would be called upon to function. (12) modification to distributor head spigot. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
