This clutch has again become very unsatisfactory, and we are therefore immediately taking the car off the road and sending it up to you so that you may investigate the cause. Until a few days ago the clutch was behaving quite normally and one could not adversely criticise it. We hope you may find some evidence of the causes which have contributed to making it become unsatisfactory for demonstration work. While the car is in your possession would you please have it decarbonised, as we want it back urgently, and no doubt this work could be done while the clutch is being attended to. As soon as you can say will you please advise us when we can have the car back. We hope you will not want it more than two days or so. F.{Mr Friese} Dodd. Cx.{Major Len W.
