Obtaining samples of Magnalium Metal from two different quotations for testing purposes.

RE X.3081 - MAGNALIUM METAL With reference to the two quotations for the above metal which you have submitted to us, we think the best thing to do would be to try and obtain a sample from each of these two quotations, and we suggest that a suitable quantity to obtain would be 1 cwt. of each, if possible. We shall be glad therefore, if you will try and obtain this quantity. We wish to make a number of test pieces and various engine parts from each of these two samples, and to decide which is the better for our purposes.
