re. 117-MC. Geoffrey Summers Esq.

With reference to your memo NRC{N. R. Chandler}11/D17.6.26. -
In regard to Item 'C' - will Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} please reply to NRC{N. R. Chandler}'s query? Presumably stiffer springs of equivalent poundage to those at present fitted are required.

Items D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} & F.{Mr Friese} do not require any comment from us.

With regard to the last two paragraphs of your memo, we had intended that the car should come to the Works for Items C. D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} & F to be attended to when the parts were ready, and D.L. has written to the customer accordingly, and we think perhaps it had better stand like this.

If Mr. Summers objects to the stronger springs and wants a further alteration, this can probably be attended to when the further modifications, as per paragraphs A & B of my memo EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}6/H8.6.26. are incorporated, or if the matter became urgent, the original springs could be sent back to Mr. Summers for him to fit.
