STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.

Description of Parts. SERVO FABRIC SECURED TO PRESSURE PLATES BY STAPLES IN PLACE OF TUBULAR RIVETS; DAMPER TO STOP SERVO CLANK.
Origin. To prevent tearing away of fabric from pressure plates. Damper to stop servo clank when released.

Experimental Test Report.
Servo fabric fastened by staples gives more support to fabric.
Damper allows servo to return steadier.

Road Test Report.
Fitted to 23-EX and run 10,000 miles in France.
Servo was efficient. No sticking or binding was noticed. Examination of fabrics after test found them to have remained firmly secured. Damper operated satisfactorily.
