-3- All existing buffers to be re-fitted. Re-fit existing front dampers but with valve load set to 150 lbs. Oil seals may have been damaged in fitting, but should be used again if possible. Examine all cast steel levers for cracks. Fit R.R. produced .6875" front roll rod but use existing link and bush rubbers if O.K. Existing front road springs to be re-fitted. New top rubber in rear spring mounting N.S. and possibly O.S. STEERING. Fit new cam already in shop, and F.89782 rocker shaft if available. Pendulum lever FB.4155. Side Steering tube LOP. FB.4178. Longer balls on side steering levers to be supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} to compensate for retaining existing yokes with new geometry. EXHAUST SYSTEM. Make new rear intermediate pipe to clear cruciform. Fit latest Burgess Silencer to be supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} Retain front bracket at right angles, and rest of system as existing. BODY MOUNT. Fit Silent Bloc mounting of dash to frame as at present being detailed to Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/FD{Frank Dodd - Bodies}'s instructions. RADIATORS. Fit correct straps to existing matrix. New bolts in yoke where necessary Fit Rover type bonnet as instructed for 9.B.V. | ||
