5th. November 1936.

Messrs. Ransome & Marles Bearing Co. Ltd.,
Newark on Trent.

S.82 providing that we can obtain the necessary material.
This is a matter I am looking into, and we will write you further and at that time we will be able to tell you precisely whether we are getting you more material of the Adamant type or whether we shall be able to deliver S.82 in the bar form to enable you to proceed with rollers from the latter material.

I should be quite prepared to wash out any experi-mental work, in view of our very wide experience with S.82 in a number of of directions in addition to that of its use as a gear wheel steel.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
