Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}19/015124, of which you have a copy, will you kindly send to my office for the dynamo in question, upon receipt of this memo. There is nothing that I can see which clearly indicates the cause of the trouble - I therefore consider that you should put the armature right and then check whether you consider the faulty brush adjustment was the probable cause, or will the evidence indicate bad connections externally to the dynamo, between the latter and the battery.
