Dear Sirs, We have your favour of the 9th instant., and note your proposal that for the future the Oil Companies should agree to the insertion of S.A.E. viscosity numbers as a distinguishing feature of their oils. As far as we are concerned, whilst we are perfectly agreeable to the addition of the Nos. 30 and 20 in respect of oil for summer and winter respectively, we would certainly wish the insertion additionally of our grade letters by which the Motorines are known to other of our customers. Motorine M,30 and Motorine E, 20, should meet your requirements, and we would add that already S.A.E. or Vis.Nos. 20 and 30 appear in some of our literature. We enclose copy of our Retail Price List, and would refer you to pages 5 and 6 where the viscosity numbers appear. As regards supplies of oils, we would mention that in the case of Motorine M and Motorine E, the Numbers 30 and 20 respectively already appear on drums and tins.
