LONDON S.W.11.

For the attention of J.W.G.Brooker, Esq.

Dear Sirs,

In view of the trouble that certain of the Oil Companies have caused us by altering the viscosity of one of their oils without altering its name, we are proposing in our future Instruction Books to recommend for the varying climatic conditions, oils of certain viscosities made by certain manufacturers.

Most of the Oil Companies have agreed on the cans of their oil, to write underneath the name the S.A.E. viscosity. We presume that your Company will follow suit, and will be in agreement with us when our Instruction Books for future cars recommend amongst others, say, Price's Motorine 30 for the summer, and 20 for the winter.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
