u s a Exptl: Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/KW. 7th April, 1934. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Inskip, Esq., Rolls-Royce of America (Inc.), 34, East 57th Street, NEW YORK, U.S.A. Dear Inskip, We are now safely home. We had a most enjoyable crossing, and I can thoroughly recommend the "Berengaria" if you are considering a trip. I want to thank you for your many services on our behalf whilst we were in New York: I only wish we could do more this end to further your cause, but the talks I have already had with our people indicate you must come to England and talk matters over with the Administration. When you do come, try and arrange to stay a little while so that we shall have the opportunity of introducing you to everyone at the factory, and showing you some of the countryside. Kindest regards to Mrs. Inskip and the family, and again thank you. Yours sincerely, | ||
