Further to our telephone conversation this afternoon.

This confirms that before I left Detroit I arranged that Mr. Spring of the Experimental Dept. at Hudson Motors would ship a car over to England which would have had the attention of their technical people, to ensure that it represented the best that they could do, and would also be supplied with an alternative cylinder head.

I understood from him that the car would reach England about the second week in April.

If we can get hold of this car without a lot of difficulty we would rather have it than one picked at random.

With regard to the Graham-Paige which we are purchasing, this is expected to be shipped aboard the American "Farmer" which is due in London about April 22nd.

We are particularly anxious to get hold of this car and would therefore be glad if you would make arrangements so that we can clear it through the Customs etc. as soon as possible.
