E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} X150. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M20.1.33. C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} PEREGRINE STEERING. With reference to the question of the controls raised in connection with N. scheme 3651., we send herewith N. scheme 3677., shewing a suggested slight re-arrangement of the levers and rods which we think overcomes the difficulties referred to. We should like to have your remarks. If what we suggest is practicable it would mean that we can have the steering in the position proposed on N. sch. 3661. We have also shewn a suggested nut for clamping up the support bracket in the frame. The object of this is to enable the nut to be easily unlocked for the purpose of adjusting the steering.
