Dear Sirs, We acknowledge your letter of the 23rd instant, your reference:- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.2/MA, addressed to our Dr. E.O. Turner. In the absence of Dr. Turner your letter has been handed to the Technical Sales Department, who would in any case deal with the various items referred. to. Regarding the HF.{H. W. Frost - Coachwork Inspector}728 which you have been trying out on a 3 1/2 Litre Bentley on the Continent, up to the time of writing this pair of hornshave not come to hand, no doubt they will turn up very shortly when they will be thoroughly examined and a report sent in due course. We are also looking into the question of the wire of the central terminal of the lamp bulb in the X.166 headlamp which was fitted to the Bentley above referred to, having carefully noted your remarks on this matter. We shall be writing you therefore again in the near future giving more detail of the various items discussed in your letter. Trusting that this will be satisfactory to you. Yours faithfully, JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED. R.{Sir Henry Royce} G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Taulmin Technical Sales Department. | ||
