Spring weight calculations and specifications based on weight distribution.

If we adopt a 30 and 70% weight distribution on the front and rear axles it would enable us to use the 800 lbs spring in accordance with calculations, but it puts the 550 lbs. spring quite out of the question, as it means on the same car specified above a 625 lb spring necessary instead of a 590 by weight calculation, under which conditions obviously we would have to specify a 600 lb spring and even then be on the light side.

I am putting the above facts before you to shew that the spring question does want prompt consideration, as I do not wish to get further involved on 550 lb front springs than we are at the moment, that is, I wish to correct the spring weights for any further orders which we may give, making the front 600 and 650 instead of 550 and 600.
