For the attention of Mr. Leslie.

We thank you for your letter of the 18th instant and note that you would like us to produce for you one pair of Bentley Rear Springs, to the various particulars shown by you.

It is noted that in paragraph 7 you state that you would like these Springs to be Cadmium plated, but as we have no facilities for this work we propose supplying these Springs in the same condition as the experimental pair which we now have in hand for you, and shall be pleased to be favoured with your confirmation that this will suit your requirements.
