Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

For the attention of S.H. Grylls Esq.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 8th inst, in connection with the Portable Hydraulic Jack for Bentley Cars.

We thank you also for blue print No. F.B.4028 showing the bracket you now require for attaching the jack to your chassis fittings.

You will appreciate that the bracket you now require is considerably more expensive than the malleable iron hook type, but in the circumstances, we do not propose to increase our quotation dated the 8th December 1937, of 25/- per Jack, which we trust you will find acceptable.

As you request, we shall put through immediately a sample of the bracket for your test, and to save time, we shall make this from the solid as this will obviate any alteration to dies should the fitting not be entirely satisfactory.

Trusting this procedure will meet with your approval,

we are,

Yours faithfully,

FOR SMITH'S JACKING SYSTEMS.

DWS/ELL.

Director & General Manager.
