S.H.Grylls, Esq.,
Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
D E R B Y.

Dear Mr.Grylls,

As you know, we have been playing about with an electric power unit for Jackall jacks for some considerable time and thoroughly testing this over long periods.

I am now satisfied that we have a one-hundred per cent job, and we propose to commence tooling-up immediately, to get production going as soon as possible.

It would be of considerable assistance to me in assessing the possible demand for this unit if you could give me some idea of your thoughts in connection with the possibility of adopting this unit for Rolls-Royce cars at a later date.

Naturally, you cannot give me any definite decision on this matter, but your considered opinion on the future of this type of jacking as it may affect your Company, would be very much appreciated, and will enable me to ensure sufficient production to cover your requirements when the time comes.

I trust I may look forward to hearing from you at an early date and remain,

Yours sincerely,
