For the attention of Mr.H.Southall.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/HJS. of the 11th. inst.

We have received the matrix which you have produced after modifying your jigging arrangements. This has been examined and fitted into a radiator in the ordinary way. We are quite pleased with the results of your efforts, and if future deliveries come along exactly as the sample, we shall have no cause for complaints. The dimension from the top to the bottom of the block should be no less than the sample supplied; this, as it is, is just right, if it were smaller our people say they might have difficulty. We are keeping this matrix as part of our order No.50401.

Thank you for the expeditious manner in which you have dealt with this job.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
