Description of Parts. MODIFIED CONNECTING ROD BEARINGS.
Origin. To increase reliability.

Experimental Test Report.
The present Phantom rods have the whitemetal direct to the rods. The proposed rods make use of loose M.S. shell white-metal bearings. Test bench results show these to be a definite improvement.

Road Test Report.
Run 10,000 miles on 8-EX. Examined and found to be in excellent condition.
Previous tests we have always had trouble with connecting rod bearings.
Fitted to 11-EX and 98-NK. Run total of 7500 miles.
No troubles.
