STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.

Description of Parts: SLIPPER WHEEL FITTED WITH DOWEL PEGS.
Origin: To improve reliability.
Experimental Test Report: We have had cases of the bolts breaking holding the slipper wheels together. The dowel pegs will overcome this.
Road Test Report: Fitted to 8-EX car - run 10,000 miles in France. Fitted to 44-PK, 11-EX and 10-EX - Total miles 6400.
[X] A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers.
[ ] B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works.
[ ] C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
[ ] D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis.
