THIRTYONE FIRSTLY STARTER MOTOR PETROL TANK DYNAMO AND MAGNETO STOP AND FOLLOWING DECISION ARRIVED AT IN CONFERENCE WITH CJ AND R AND PRINCIPAL TECHNICAL x3740.x3683 OFFICIALS STOP SECONDLY STARTER MOTOR AND GEAR MUST BE THOSE WHICH WILL BE IN USE AT DERBY AT THE TIME SPRINGFIELD CHASSIS WILL BE DELIVERED STOP NOTHING HAS BEEN RECEIVED HERE FROM AMERICA WHICH IS CONSIDERED TO BE SUFFICIENTLY GOOD STOP THIRDLY PETROL TANK MODIFICATIONS TO PETROL TANK x3888/9 EMBODYING ALL AMERICAN REQUIREMENTS NOW IN EXPERIMENTAL DEPT STOP WHEN DETAILS FINISHED WILL EXAMINE PARTS AND THEN FORWARD DETAIL DRAWINGS WHICH WILL BE READY x3878 AWAITING THIS DECISION STOP FOURTHLY DYNAMO MUST x295 BE SMITH WITH SMITH CUTOUT BUT ROLLS ROYCE SWITCH- x3771 BOARD AND JUNCTION BOX STOP DYNAMO HAS PROVED x4173 ITSELF BETTER THAN ANY OTHER OVER EXTENDED TESTS AND WILL BE STANDARDISED AT ONCE FIFTHLY AMERICAN x3916 BOSCH MAGNETO CONSIDERED TO COMPARE FAVOURABLY IN x3702 FINISH WITH WATFORD AND EXPERIMENTS POINT TO LIKELIHOOD OF ADOPTING SAME FOR AMERICAN BUT MUST AWAIT FINAL DECISION BEFORE ORDERING STOP.
