With reference to HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/LG19.5.25, these details appear to be extremely useful and important for general reference. we should be glad to arrange for a sufficient quantity to be sent to us for the use of PN.{Mr Northey}, CWB., H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} and his four inspectors, and six other copies. These copies, which would include the fullest and most secret information, should be marked clearly, "Secret and Confidential". Will you also please let us have one copy of what it is suggested might be supplied to outside officials, which would not contain secret or purely technical information, in order that we may consider how many we should require of these. CWB. has suggested that it would add to the utility of these books if all the illustrations of the main components could be included, such as engine; engine gears and slipper drive, etc; ignition; valves; carburetter; clutch; gearbox; transmission and back axle; brakes; springs.
