Messrs. H.D. Jackson & Co.Ltd., Summit Works, Hospital Street, Walsall. Dear Sirs, We are in need of Hooks, eyes and buckles for use with webbing equipment and have been recommended by the Department of Naval Ordnance to communicate with you. We want a suitable heavy buckle for adjusting the length of a 5" wide webbing belt. Likewise we would like particulars of a suitable ring fixing for one end and a clasp fixing rather resembling that of a dogs lead for the other. We would be glad if you could send us particulars of any such fittings or even samples. At the same time should you have a catalogue it might prove very useful to us at the moment. Yours faithfully, H.I.F. Evernden, Chief of Design, Gun Installation Section. | ||
