Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} Dear Mr. Robotham, We are sorry to learn from your letter of 22nd. December that none of the tyres enumerated in my letter of the 16th. September have shown any improvement in regard to squeal. We have designed a modified form of the original five bar pattern and hope to be able to send you tyres from a new mould of this design about the 24th. January. 1942. We suggest that nothing further be done on this problem until these tyres are available for trial. About a month ago we discussed in general terms some factors affecting the design of Tank Tyres. Have there been any further developments in regard to which we might be of assistance? With best wishes for 1942. I remain, Yours sincerely, J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Mackay | ||
