Messrs. Rolls Royce, Ltd.,
DERBY.

For the Attention of Mr.A.S. Steadman.

Dear Sirs,

With reference to your letters of the 6th and 7th instant regarding Heater units.

We will of course pick out some motors which we consider to come within a fair standard of noise, but as you require a motor on the lower speed it may be a day or two before we can supply you with this particular one.

Regarding the increased spindle length, this would of course produce no real difficulty, but we wonder whether in the first instance it would be possible to supply motors with a built-on extension, though eventually these could be made with the full length of solid spindle.

We believe that our Mr. Faulconbridge has already written you on the question of prices, and we would assure you that we quite understand that the resistance of the rheostat must be 2.5 ohms total resistance, and we hope to supply you with a sample of this during the next day or two.

We will communicate with you early next week regarding delivery of the motors in question.

Yours faithfully,
THE AC-SPHINX SPARKING PLUG CO. LTD.
