Dear Sirs,

RE QUESTION OF TESTING DUNLOP STRAIGHT SIDED TYRES BY THE EXPERIMENTAL DEPT. IN YOUR WORKS.

We thank you for your favour of yesterday, and need hardly say that your suggestion appeals very strongly to us.

The writer, who has just returned from Amsterdam, referred the matter to our Head Office, at Birmingham, before his departure, and we hope to advise you within the next day or two whether the whole proposal can be carried into effect.

The point raised by your Experimental Department is fully noted, and we shall let you know what our own people have to say on the subject of rigidity of the walls of the tyres; Meantime,

We are,

Yours faithfully,

FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER COMPANY LTD.

J.L.Mathews.
