At the end of 30 minutes running on 6.0 volts, the current taken was 21.5 amperes. The motor on this test got rather warmer than was expected. Also oil was found to be leaking out from the gears, apparently at the junction of the gunmetal endplate and the annulus. With Teazer winding in circuit Power required to turn armature and reduction gear slowly:- 10.5 amperes at 6.0 volts. Turning freely with 9.0 volts on terminals and taking 13.0 amps., the torque appears satisfactory. Signed This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
