6th October 1911.

Mr Swetnam 6-10-11.

Will you please get out a set of pistons that will raise the compression to 90 lbs with 1/8" liner fitted. To obtain 90 lbs pressure the clearance volume should not be more than 19 square inches.

In arriving at this compression care should be taken that the piston does not strike the top of the cylinder, and also that the piston rings do not run past the counterbore when 1/8" liner is taken out.

-------------

Will you also adapt a carburetter, similar to that fitted on the "White Knave", to the speed car In connection with this a large induction should of course be fitted to this carburetter.
